Was it a dream?

On Saturday night at the hospital, my sister came to visit Steven and stay with us for the afternoon. She's been through cancer before and is going through it again, so she helped Steven download some of her favorite fight songs. It was brilliant to get him some music--why didn't we think of that? It cheered him up quite a bit.

Last night he said to me, "Mom? Was I imagining this? It seems like I remember that Alisa came to the hospital and put some music on the Ipad." I showed him the music and he laughed at himself that he didn't remember.

Maybe we'll wake up and all of this will just be a dream.

  3. He is a true musician, hummed the star wars main theme beautifully. Whenever he comes to my house and my ipod is on, he is tapping or singing along. Maybe you can write songs while your bed Steven? Are you interested in a guitar?

I bet he will remember so little of this time. So take pictures and write so we can tell him what it was like.

  4. Hey, everyone could use a list of fight songs. What were they? Maybe I need a few on my I-pod. How nice to have Alisa who knows just what Steven needs.

We are thinking of you all everyday and praying for you everyday.

  7. Steven, this is your mom's cousin, Cami. Do you remember my daughter Emma? She remembers you and wants to say that she hopes you aren't feeling too sick. Also, she wants to know if you have e-mail? This blog is such a great idea. We want to know how you are all doing, but we don't want to be bothersome. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers, and we're cheering you and your family on. Also, please don't think twice if there is anything I can do to help.

  9. Music can have an amazing impact on us. My Dad loved listening to music as he battled with cancer. So what kind of music does Steven like? We love you guys and you're all in our prayers.
